EcoWater Commercial Applications

Below are some commercial applications that have been installed by EcoWater Dealerships.


MANUFACTURING PLANTS:

Facility Name: Commercial Glass Fabricator - NB
Dealership: Shediac Water Conditioning
Problem: TDS was at 800, wanted to bring it down to 10. Thermo windows are put through a sophisticated washer; it was leaving streaks and spots on the glass.
Solution: Installed a CRO 2600 commercial RO. Now the washer is fed with RO water from the storage tank into the washer. The glass is now spotless and they cannot believe the results. We used no pretreatment, as the hardness was only 5 and contained no iron.
   

FOOD & BEVERAGE INDUSTRY:
Facility Name: Irving Big Stop - Fredericton, NB
Dealership: All Clear Water
Problem: Owner wanted spot free dishes, flatware and glasses. TDS was close to 1000.
Solution: A large 10,400 gpd commercial RO was installed. This was used to feed the hot water in the kitchen area for dishwashing and restaurant area. They put a softener in front just to increase membrane life and to remove small amount of iron present in the water.
   
Facility Name: Swiss Chalet - Saint John, NB
Dealership: WaterMaster Treatment
Problem: They were receiving many complaints from customers on the taste of their cold and hot beverages. They were wasting more drinks because of poor taste.
Solution: Hooked up two duplex 3 cubes each of Carbon on a 1½" line to take all the chlorine out of the water. This system is removing all the chlorine throughout the entire restaurant area and has had very positive feedback since the system was installed.
Comments: Used twin Valves on this system but used Fleck Valves as the time frame needed warranted using these valves and customer insisted on Fleck since other restaurants in the area were using them.
   
Facility Name: Moosehead Breweries - Saint John, NB
Dealership: WaterMaster Treatment
Problem: Needed softened water 24/7 for the boilers in the plant. A twin alternating softener was installed, these were two 10 cube softeners twinned using the Magnum Valve.
Solution: These are working beautifully and the customer is really pleased. This was the first commercial system WaterMaster has done with this type of valve.
