Supporting World Water Day

March 22, 2010, EcoWater Canada will donate a portion from every sale in the month of March to help
support AMREF Canada and the Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health in their goals to bring clean, safe
drinking water to people in Canada and around the world.

World Water Day is an international day of observance and action to draw attention to the plight of
the more than 1 billion people world wide that lack access to clean, safe drinking water. In many ways,
World Water Day is still a relatively unknown event. Even with the support of the UN and efforts
by leading non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and committed individuals, World Water Day is today
at a similar stage as Earth Day was in the early 1970’s – important but relatively unknown.

EcoWater Canada is recognized as an industry leader in being "green". It is the first water treatment
company to receive the zerofootprint Certificate of Compliance for water treatment products.

EcoWater Canada has also created a first of its kind recycling program, specifically designed for used Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration cartridges.
